Jain University is set up as an Online University to impart informal and formal education at all levels to all Jain and non-Jain people, with the following Global objectives:

To impart knowledge of Lord (Bhagwan) Mahavir's useful, awakening and humane Global direction, speeches (updesh), thoughts, pratices (aachar), principles and commandments in simple languages - English, Gujarati and Hindi - through use of modern communication media - Internet (websites, e-Books), compact discs, video and audio cassettes, pictorial arts, printed materials, lecture series and so on.

	To offer true understanding, problem solving techniques and contemporary information on various subjects of Jainism to all people of the world, especially in today's difficult times.
	To enable each human being of global communities to utilize and selflessly exchange his / her latent and potent abilities, knowledge and understanding of Jainism.
	To create a conducive environment for moulding cultural life of glob-trotting new generation children, adolescents, adults and elder people (boys, girls, man, women) within the framework of Jain principles, culture, deeds, thoughts, foods, ideals and knowledge in a systematic and simple manner, representing pride of Jain Kingdom (Shasan).
	To make God gifted lives holy, peaceful, creative, meditative, and to make worshiper (pujari) of true knowledge (Samyag Gyan) and of Lord (Bhagwan) Mahavir
