DIGAMBER SECT

Digambers, all saints of Prabhu Mahavir were believed clothless and indicates that the difference of Swetamber. Digamber took place in V.S 606. According to this view, the speech of Bhagwan has not at all remained in the original form and hence Aagmo do not accept, women does not get salvation, Prabhu Mahavir has not married and Kevalgnani Bhagwants do not take food etc and saints are clothless in this sangha. They keep in hand wooden Kamandlu, Pecock Feather and accepts food in hand. Idol believes without eyes, tika, kandoro. They do not accept 45 Aagmo Swet Samant but believes Agamvat the volumes constituted by Shri Kundkundacharya.
The founder of this sect is considered Arya Shivbhuti. In this sect also Bispanthi, Terapanthi, Totapuri, Gumanpanthi, Samaiya etc many views and there are many sub-division. At present, Ach. Vidyasagar M.S is main of the Terapanthi Society.

SUMMARY

As a result of difference of opinion and thought and despite various Sects-Gachho-Panths, groups, non-violence, Mahavrat has been given first place, no violent event has taken place any time like other religion. Women, money and electricity rules they equally observe. Moreover, main main principles of Prabhu Mahavir, Darshan, Gyan, Character, by Aradhana salvation, 5 great vrats, 7 or 9 elements, 8 Karm, 24 Tirthankars, 14 virtue places, etc. are equally accepted and has spread in the entire Bharat Varsha like a great big tree.
