Invitation to Nominate Members on Academic Council

To join the prestigious Academic Council of Jain University Online (JainUniversity.org), you are most welcome to nominate yourself and / or other outstanding academicians and experts in Jainism / Jainology, Religion, Philosophy, Linguistics and Translation, Information Technology and other relevant fields of knowledge base.

Role of Academic Council:

• Design the course content on Jainism.

• Prepare study materials on selected subjects of Jainism.

• Write Articles on selected topics of Jainism as per guidelines of Jain Monks ( Guru Bhagwantas ).

• Vet / approve the articles and study materials prepared by other experts.

• Meet periodically in person or through email, as and when required.

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum requirements to join the Academic Council is a Graduate qualification, preferably backed by a Post-Graduate, Doctoral Degree or professional qualification in any field.

• Specialized qualifications in Jainology, Jainism, Philosophy, Religion as well as Languages like English, Gujarati, Hindi or any other language of the world will be most welcome.

• Expertise in any one language and/or a faculty of Jainism like Jain literature, history, pictorial art, sculpture, music, food and eating, astrology, astronomy, numerology, mathematics and time measurement, science and technology, systems, yoga, Tatva Gyan , Darshan, Charitra, Tapa, Kriyas, Sutras, Stotras, Mantras, Yantras, Stutis (prayers to Tirthankaras ) or any other subject of Jainism is essential. 

• Willingness to serve the society selflessly and devote some valuable time in creating, editing and maintaining Jain education and knowledge-base.

• Connectivity through email.

Reward and Recognition:
The Members of The Academic Council of Jain University Online are honorary, and shall be recognized for their pioneering contribution to spreading the light of Non-violence and other principles of Jainism as a Global Religion for Global Peace.

Names of Academic Council Members are published at the Jain University Online's website, which can be seen and visited by people from 200 countries.

Please send your nomination by email, preferably with a detailed bio-data and contact details including email address to: contact@jainuniversity.org

Alternatively, you may post the details to HQ or any of the Contact Addresses with a copy to HQ, given at the 'Contact' section.

Jain University Online shall invite the nominee directly, if the details are found appropriate, to seek his/her consent. Those who do not remain active shall be replaced periodically. The decision of Jain University Online shall be final.
