This organization was established sixty years ago on
Chaitra Sud Samvat 2006, it was Mahavir Swami Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav. Many
Guru Maharaj and Bhagvant gave their blessings.
Main goal of this organization is to provide Jain
Religious Knowledge, Take religious exams
and organize Jain Path Shalas.
More than 250 Path Shalas of Greater Bombay, from Marin
Drive to Agashi and From Fort to Kalyan are associated with it. This is part of
the Association or federation of Path Shalas.
Every year oral and written exams of Jain religion are
conducted systematically from Std. 2 to 22, with blessings of Guru Bhagvant.
Thousands of young boys and girls, Sadhaviji Maharaj
Sahebo, elderly Bhaio and Baheno willingly take part in these exams.
Till today more than ten thousand students have appeared
for exams.
The organization gives certificate to those who have
passed the exams and Presents + Shields to those who have passed in first rank.
Even Path Shalas which have high standards, more number
of students, and better results get best pathshala award.
The successful teachers are also awarded.
Every year Path Shalas are visited and useful suggestions
and guidance are given.
The organization has started Sikshan Sahyak Fund, under
which financial assistance is also given to needy Path Shalas. Many good Jains
donate considerably to this noble cause. Their help is appreciated.
The working of organization “Shri Jain Dharmik Sikshan
Sangh” has improved much after moving to new spacious office premises.
